From Luxor, embark on the iconic Nile boat, the DAHABIYA, for a timeless cruise. These elegant traditional boats, all in varnished wood and white sails, were once used to transport men and goods. Today, they are the ideal way to set off to discover a country that has lost none of its power of fascination, while the long and silent pace of navigation proves conducive to meditation and relaxation.

You will sail on the Nile, discovering the most beautiful sites of ancient Egypt, meet the Egyptians of today, and practice yoga at to the rhythm of the sun, surrounded by the ever-changing landscapes of the river, with its green banks and its ochre and burning hills.

Thanks to its lightness and its flat bottom, the DAHABIYA can dock on the shores of the river inaccessible to ocean liners. It is away from the tourist crowds that you will meet the peasants of the banks of the Nile, their traditions, their culture. Crossing villages, markets and palm groves, you will experience authentic and enriching moments of sharing, capable of creating long-lasting memories.

Meals are taken on board, prepared by our private chef. Vegetarian-pescaterian, made with local products, they are adapted to everyone’s wishes. Moments of sharing and conviviality between the participants and the crew.

STEP 2: THE HOUSE OF KHEOPS

You are in Cairo, a fascinating and vibrant capital. Steeped in history and the largest metropolis in Africa, Cairo is nicknamed in Arabic “Oum el Dunya” which means “the mother of the world”.

Located on the west bank of the Nile and now in the suburbs of the metropolis of Cairo, you will visit the famous plateau of Giza where stand the pyramids of Mykerinos, Kephren and … the marvelous Cheops: the largest of the pyramids and the first wonder of the world.

Guardian of the site, the sphinx majestically watches over this immense necropolis.
Your stay in Cairo necessarily involves a visit to Old Cairo, the heart and soul of the city, a historic district with a frantic and even chaotic pace, which will not leave you indifferent.

You will stay in the “House of Cheops”, a spiritual oasis located at the foot of the largest pyramid in Egypt.
Yoga practices take place in the observatory of the house, a space built in alignment with the great pyramid of Cheops,
offering a unique view of it. This space will be your disposal during the stay, both to practice yoga and for moments of meditation, or to contemplate the stars and the trajectories of the sun and the moon.
